2,058 students receive financial aid thanks to Sorin Society members

Annual gifts from Sorin Society members benefit areas of greatest need throughout the University, enhancing the student experience and advancing Notre Dame’s mission.

A Notre Dame education is a valuable investment in a person, and the quality and rigor are only one part of it. The University ensures that accomplished and deserving students have the opportunity to experience Notre Dame regardless of their financial situation. Sorin Society funds help the University remain a need-blind institution, committed to meeting 100% of undergraduate students’ demonstrated financial need.

In the 2023–2024 academic year, 2,058 students received the equivalent of a $10,000 financial aid scholarship from the Sorin Society.
