Lush fescue fairways, softly rolling green hills, the Golden Dome framed against a crisp blue sky: these are the sights that have greeted members of the Notre Dame Men’s Golf team for nearly a century.

From a student-organized start in 1923 through two eras of being coached by priests, Notre Dame has established itself as one of the finest collegiate golf programs in the nation.

The program’s history and storied tradition includes a 1944 NCAA Championship, 19 top-10 NCAA championship finishes, and 37 NCAA postseason appearances.

Since 2000, the Notre Dame Men's Golf team has won four Big East Conference championship titles and claimed two Big East runner-up finishes.

The Irish call the 18-hole Warren Golf Course home. Opened in 1999, the Warren Golf Course has hosted dozens of high-profile USGA, NCAA, and Western Golf Association tournaments. Recently, the course was selected to host the 2019 U.S. Senior Open, marking the first time a college campus will host a major golf championship.

The quality of the course, asserted by the top experts of the game, has provided a solid foundation for the expansion and development of Notre Dame’s Men's Golf program.
