In just 21 seasons as a Division I program, Notre Dame Women’s Lacrosse has become a major player on the national lacrosse scene.
The Notre Dame Women’s Lacrosse team has advanced to the NCAA Tournament 11 times since 2002, its history highlighted by a 2006 appearance in the national semifinals and a 2016 appearance in the national quarterfinals.
Since 2012 the Irish have appeared in 6 of 7 NCAA Tournaments, showcased 6 All-Americans, and had 2 players nominated for the Tewaarton Award (National Player of the Year) including one finalist.
The Rockne Athletics Fund provides critical resources to advance the Women’s Lacrosse program. Current gifts are being used to fund the team’s 2019 international summer experience, enhance team spaces at Arlotta Stadium, and improve travel resources for ACC and nationally-spread competition.
