This May, Jesse Harper Council and Athletics Director’s Circle members visited the mountains of Colorado Springs to enjoy hands-on experiences and learning sessions with industry leaders, Olympians, professional athletes, and Notre Dame coaches at the 2nd annual Notre Dame Sports Summit.
Hosted at the beautiful U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center and Broadmoor Resort, guests enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look at the world of Sports Performance and a deeper exploration of how top athletes use the “High-Performance Model” to maximize their ability in competition. Most importantly, they experienced first-hand how their investment in Notre Dame student-athletes powers the Fighting Irish on and off the field.
Jesse Harper Council and Athletics Director’s Circle members left with expert insights into Fighting Irish Athletics, the training and care that goes into the making of Olympians and world-class professional athletes, and the topics of physical, technical, tactical, and mental training.
