In an era where individual impact often takes center stage, the University of Notre Dame exemplifies the incredible power that can be harnessed when we join together. Last year, 51,001 members of the Notre Dame Family made an unrestricted gift of $200 or less. These gifts of $200 and less collectively provided 45 full-ride scholarships for deserving Notre Dame students.

Annual gifts like these through the Notre Dame Fund strengthen and preserve the University’s mission of preparing students to be a global force for good—regardless of their financial background—and influence nearly every area of University life.

“To have the opportunity to attend the school that I grew up knowing and loving has been an incredible experience. I’ve grown—not only in my knowledge of the world and its challenges as a Political Science and Global Affairs major—but also in compassion for those in need. My classes, clubs, Summer Service Learning Project, and multiple nonprofit internships have all taught me how to accompany others through life’s obstacles, both innovatively and empathetically. These experiences were all crafted by Notre Dame, its mission, and its community, and I am so grateful that I’ve always had the support needed to fulfill my desire to do good for the world. Working on Notre Dame Day, I saw firsthand how much of the student experience is made possible by the greater Notre Dame community. It’s a special place, for sure, but the community that surrounds and supports this school is what has consistently made Notre Dame so special to me. Thank you for being a part of that community!
