“Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.”

In the spirit of that call to action from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., more than 100 Notre Dame Law School students, faculty, and staff spent time on January 16, 2023 serving the greater South Bend community by volunteering for local nonprofit organizations.

Volunteers from Notre Dame made an immediate impact by preparing 5,000 meals, assembling 100 personal care kits, sorting 500 articles of clothing, planting 600 seedlings for future food, and distributing 250 donations — and this is just a sampling.

The University of Notre Dame exists to not only educate the whole person but also to serve humanity and develop leaders of character.

To invest in Notre Dame's distinct mission, please consider making a gift to the Law School Annual Fund or Notre Dame Fund. Your gift will directly provide for our student's greatest needs so they can continue being forces for good on campus and in communities around the world.
