As a thank you for your membership and generosity, we are pleased to invite you to the following experiences during Notre Dame's 2019 football season.

In addition to Giving Society events, we invite you to take advantage of exclusive discounts and performances new this year during football weekends:

  • Enjoy discounted tickets to cheer on the Fighting Irish with fellow members at Rockne & Sorin Nights at ND Athletics: Men's Soccer vs. Clemson (September 13 at 7pm); Volleyball vs. North Carolina (September 27 at 7pm); and Women's Soccer vs. Syracuse (October 4 at 7pm). Purchase Tickets using the Giving Society Event Registration Form.
  • 15% discount at Gameday Brunch and Candlelight Dinner at North and South Dining Halls. Soak in the atmosphere with the student body and relive old memories with friends and family! Membership card must be presented to receive discount at dining hall cashier station.
  • Exclusive showing of Sorin: A Notre Dame Story, the one-person play about the founding of the University on September 27 at DeBartolo Performing Arts Center (details below)

Blue and Gold Luncheon

Introducing the Blue & Gold Kickoff Luncheon at Foley's! We invite all Blue, Gold, Circle, and Council members to join us for a delicious buffet lunch in this premier space inside Notre Dame Stadium. Beer and wine is included. Make a reservation today to join us for this new event! Advance Registration Required.

Here Come The Irish Kickoff

Friday Kickoffs are back! Start your weekend in style inside Notre Dame Stadium at Foley's Club. We invite Sorin, Rockne, O'Hara, and Order of St. Thomas More members to enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. In the interest of allowing as many members as possible to experience this event, party size and seating capacity are limited. Advance registration is required. Seating is first come, first served. Advance Registration Required.

When: Fridays 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Shake Down The Thunder Tailgate

We are excited to announce that the Shake Down the Thunder! Tailgate will move to Duncan Student Center inside Notre Dame Stadium for the 2019 football campaign! This will be the FIRST Tailgate Party ever hosted right inside Notre Dame Stadium and promises to be bigger and better than ever. This exclusive access to the stadium will include unlimited food, beverages, live pre-game entertainment, and the afternoon’s biggest games on the big screen. Advanced Registration Required.

When: Saturdays

  • New Mexico, Virginia Tech, Navy, Boston College Games: 11:00am-2:00pm (2:30pm Kickoff)
  • Virginia, Bowling Green Games: Noon-3:00pm (3:30pm Kickoff)
  • USC Game: 4:00pm-7:00pm

Where: Duncan Student Center (enter Door 15; see important information below)
Cost:

  • Adults (food, beer and wine included): $44
  • Adults (food and non-alcoholic beverages only) $27
  • Children 6-12: $15
  • Children 5 and under: Free

With the move to Notre Dame Stadium, Giving Society members must adhere to all stadium policies and the following guidelines when entering the tailgate:

  • Exclusive entrance to the tailgate for Giving Society members and their guests will be located at Door 15 of Duncan Student Center on the west side of the stadium, between Gates D and E.
  • All entrants will be screened by stadium security and the University's clear bag policy will be enforced for any member or guest coming to the tailgate.
  • Members or guests with game tickets will have their game ticket scanned when entering the tailgate, and will enter the stadium bowl directly from the tailgate to access their seats following the event.
  • Members or guests attending the tailgate without a game ticket must exit the Duncan Student Center and the Notre Dame Stadium complex immediately following the conclusion of the tailgate.
  • Have other pre-game plans on campus? Make the Shake Down the Thunder! tailgate your last stop. Upon entering the tailgate, guests will NOT be permitted to leave and re-enter the tailgate or Notre Dame Stadium. At the conclusion of the tailgate, all guests will need to either move to their seats for the game or exit Notre Dame Stadium and Duncan Student Center.

Giving Society Mass

Giving Society members and their guests are invited to a post-game Mass following the afternoon games. Mass will NOT be held after the USC game. Registration is not required. Seating is on a first come first served basis. Open to all giving society members.

When: 30-Minutes Post-Game
[Mass will NOT be held after the Bowling Green or USC game. During the Bowling Green game weekend, Mass will be celebrated at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center 30 minutes post game.]

Onward To Victory Dinner

Back by popular demand! Bring your family and friends and join your fellow giving society members for a delicious buffet at the Morris Inn during home game weekends. The New Mexico and Bowling Green games will feature the Irishman Buffet. The Irishman buffet is  a nod to our heritage with a Morris Inn twist! For the Virginia game you can expect the always popular Italiano Buffet. Cash bar is available. Dinner will not be offered on USC weekend. Open to all giving society members. Advance Registration Required.

When: Saturdays - Begins 30 minutes post-game. Buffet will close 2 hours post-game. (Dinner will not be offered during the USC game weekend)

Rockne Athletics Fund - Ask Jack

Ask Jack
Rockne members only are invited to hear Vice President and James E. Rohr Director of Athletics, Jack Swarbrick, share what's happening inside Notre Dame Athletics and across the collegiate landscape. Accompanying Jack is a guest student-athlete who speaks on his/her experience at Notre Dame. Both Swarbrick and the student-athlete participate in Q&A to round out the session. Light breakfast will be provided. Advance Registration Required

Join your fellow O’Hara Society members this fall as we cheer on the Fighting Irish and have opportunities to engage with Dean Martijn Cremers and our graduate business students. We hope to see you back at Mendoza this season!

Mendoza Graduate Alumni Tailgate
Graduate alumni, students, faculty, staff, and families gather in Mendoza’s Naimoli Courtyard for tailgate food, beer and wine, and fun before three home games this season. O’Hara Society members receive complimentary entrance to this event, as well as two tickets for beer and wine. Advance registration is required. Cheers!

Sorin - A Notre Dame Story

Sorin: A Notre Dame Story returns this fall, with limited seating reserved exclusively for Giving Society members. This one-person play about the dawn of the University of Notre Dame as told by the intrepid Holy Cross priest who founded it, Rev. Edward Sorin, C.S.C., is directed by Patrick Vassel ’07—Associate Director of the smash hit, Hamilton—and written by celebrated playwright Christina Telesca Gorman ’91 with immersive projections by Ryan Belock ’11.
