Contributions made to Notre Dame Law School through the Order of St. Thomas More have a tremendous impact on the Law School and its students, especially by allowing NDLS to implement new programs and initiatives.
For example, member gifts help to enhance the Law School's Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), which has now disbursed $1 million to NDLS graduates who pursue careers in public service.
The Law School's benefactors have also helped to strengthen the Bridge-to-Practice Program, which enables participating graduates to receive stipends for working with a government or nonprofit employer in their targeted area of the country. This program has allowed qualified NDLS graduates to gain practical and professional legal experience and develop essential contacts and references in their field, all while they provide valuable service to the public. Employers that participate in this program include judges, prosecutor's offices, defender's offices, and non-governmental public service organizations.
