Gift support from alumni, parents, and friends has helped Notre Dame become what it is today, and will help it achieve its goals for the future.
Gifts of securities are an important component of the benevolence of the Notre Dame family, and often confer significant tax benefits on the donor. For example, contributions of appreciated securities held for over a year are generally deductible at market value, regardless of what the donor paid for the securities.
