Sorin: A Notre Dame Story returns this fall

Coming soon: Sorin: A Notre Dame Story, a riveting one-man play that brings to life the founding of the University of Notre Dame through the eyes of the fearless Holy Cross priest who dared to dream it into existence: Rev. Edward Sorin, C.S.C.

Directed by Patrick Vassel ’07, associate director of Broadway’s smash hit Hamilton, and written by celebrated playwright Christina Telesca Oates ’91, with immersive projection by Ryan Belock ’11, Anthony Lawton ’89 stars as Father Sorin in a commanding performance that carries audiences on an extraordinary journey of faith, vision, and sacrifice.

From Father Sorin’s voyage to the United States to the triumph of rebuilding Notre Dame from the ashes, Sorin illuminates the remarkable life of the University’s founder and the enduring spirit that transformed a wilderness into one of the world’s great Catholic universities.
